The ten main forces that have shaped me are the ten most important things in my life. My mother, father, brother, sports, school, friends, church leaders, coaches, teachers, and counselors have been in my life ever since I can remember and taught me how to be responsible, honest, and an academic achiever who is kind, safe and helpful to others. My parents did a great job teaching me how to be safe and what was right and wrong. My mother taught me how to carry myself as a lady. She says no matter what to keep my composure. My father taught me how to be strong no matter what the situation may bring. My brother basically taught me how to deal with annoying people. At a young age we use to bicker, but I have learned how to handle difficult situations in more positive ways. Sports have shown me how to be responsible. Every person on a team is valuable and if one person slacks, it may effect everyone else. School is important because it is the place I get most of my eduaction. Education is something that I will need until I die, to become successful in life. Friendships end, but the best part about my friends are learning who I am and who I'm going to be. I also get to learn from things they struggle with when I help them overcome problems. Church leaders are very inspirational to me and they help me clear my mind and get my thoughts together. The various coaches that I've had are big on showing me discipline. This trait comes easy now that I've been in many sports and had many different coaches. Teachers introduce almost everything to a student. The relationships I have with my teachers usually grow and I feel as if we can learn from eachother not only school related objectives, but also outside of school related activities. Lastly, counselors are always there to help me follow through with my progress in school. These are the ten people and things that have shaped me as a person throughout my life.
